Make a Difference Day, which takes place on the 4th Saturday of October, is the largest day of community service in the United States. We have been organizing Litter Cleanups on Make a Difference Day since 2021. This year, we are returning to the area in Newcom Plain that sits along the future Flight Line elevated recreational trail. We will be picking up trash along that abandoned rail line, and also back in the Newcom Plain neighborhood.
We will provide trash bags, gloves, and litter grabbers. Bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. Note: there are no public restrooms nearby.
